Frustrated Network Marketer–When The Hill Grows

Life is full of ups and downs, achievements and disappointments, successes and failures, joys and sadness.  In life there are no easy paths that lead to a perfect life where all is bliss and happiness all the time.  Along the path of life there are obstacles you will encounter and decisions to be made.  Frustrated network marketer – when the hill grows into a mountain what will you do?

There will be times when life delivers us a new challenge and the hill becomes a mountain.  It will be up to us to decide whether we accept the challenge or walk away.  How we handle a challenge will determine whether we will be successful or fail. The key is in your decision. The choice is yours alone. If a path of failure and disappointment is chosen there is no one to blame but you.

I know a network marketer who has been up to the challenge a number of years now.  You see the network marketing company she is with is not in her country but to her that does not matter.  Yes there are challenges but because it is what she wanted to do so she chose the path of success.  The company was a perfect fit for her so she accepted the challenges that she knew would be difficult but the road to success was in her view.  To her the decision that if she could not build her business in her country she would build it in countries that the network company was in was a decision she HAD to make.  She is successful now and in the near future she will have achieved her goals and be living her dreams.  She is an inspiration to those that know her and will be so to many many more.

Recently two network companies merged and with the merger both companies have gained expertise that they were lacking and in fact the new entity has increased in strength and expertise.  A move that was beneficial to both companies and the distributors.  New products introduced which means a learning experience for those that have not been introduced to these products before  and different selling techniques.  One of the unfortunate turns of events is that the company is not in all the countries that the merging company was in creating  new challenges for some of the distributors in those countries.  But for those that seek to achieve their dreams and goals they will find a way around or over the mountain that has obstructed their path.

How we deal with these mountains will determine whether we need to take a different path or continue on the path we are on and face the new challenge.  We need to remember that we are business people and need to make  decisions based on a business point of view and not on an emotional one.  Emotions tend to cloud your vision and give way to negative emotions if the situation does not follow the path we had set.  Stephen R. Covey in his book “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective people” came upon a revelation and quoted it in his book.  “There is a gap or space between stimuli and response”.  The gap is the time you will have to make a decision to respond to the stimuli and the outcome will depend upon your decision.  Depending what the decision is, you will need to use the right criteria to make your decision and in business basing your decision upon an emotional response will lead down the path of negativity when in reality the situation you are cast into may be the best situation for you.

Successful Network Marketing–Knowing How To Analyze An Opportunity BEFORE Spending a Dime

To be successful network marketing – knowing how to analyze an opportunity BEFORE spending a dime will save you years of struggle, frustration and starting from scratch over and over again.  On the other hand, if you have already signed on the dotted line with a company and are struggling to create that income from home as an online network marketer, I strongly suggest and recommend that you find a mentor with a servant’s heart to help you look at the opportunity you are currently in to see where there can be some improvements made. Usually it is just a matter of learning some skills, a network marketing education if you will.

How many times have you started a network marketing company, only to find frustration with the duplicable system, the upline support is next to zero or non existent and the compensation plan just does not add up as you were shown in the presentation? 

How many times have you been burned? That’s right. You thought you saw the light at the end of the tunnel; had an organization of twenty, thirty or even hundreds in your downline when…BAM! Something turned it off. You found yourself holding the bag. Sound familiar? Perhaps you were terminated without cause, the company went out of business or changed it’s business model from MLM to direct sales.  Heaven forbid the company may  decided that it does not need  sales reps at all of any kind, direct or MLM distributors.  What happens then? 

My hope would be that you would determine just how much of a risk the company you are thinking of joining will be before you join.  But if you find that you skipped that step and are in a company now,  there is still a way to determine how much you are risking by  using the 5 Pillars technology.   • How to avoid scams that are masked as legitimate MLM Companies and turn out to be pyramid schemes

  • What is the best MLM company for YOU?
  • What to say and when to say it.

Just imagine how you would feel if you were NEVER scammed again, could finally create a residual walk away  income of 10K a month or even more and could finally say I have found a company that I can call HOME.

Just what is your desired income, perhaps an extra $500 a month is good enough for you?  Will your Policies and Procedures as well as your compensation plan allow you to retire and/or will your business to your heirs. 

The Policies and Procedures will in most cases indicate that you can retire or leave your residual income to your heirs; succession. But, have you read them close enough to know that there may be qualifications that MUST be met by your heirs, or even qualifications that may prevent you from ever retiring.  Oh you can retire whenever you wish, but in most contracts in MLM if you decide to retire and do not caring on with your training responsibilities and your team building responsibilities; you will no longer be eligible to receive YOUR residual income that YOU created.  Making it impossible for you to retire and take a vacation when you want if you still want to receive that residual income that you worked so hard for.  This income, if you choose to walk away from a contract written like this will now roll right back to the company. OUCH!!

Read your PnPs for your self.  Look for words such as “ongoing” training, responsibilities, succession. What do your heirs have to do to qualify to receive what you have willed to them in your last will and testament?  How will your heirs feel when they realize that in order for them to receive what you have willed to them, they MUST sign up as a distributor and perform all the same duties that you do now?… Recruiting, selling, pitching your deal, training your downline.

Frustrated Network Marketer–Warning: Common Problem That Causes Rejection!

Have you ever consider why the imageprospect you have been speaking to turned into a dud?  Tom “Big Al” Schreiter, a legend in the network marketing industry says, “Prospects are neither good or bad but are neutral.  Bad prospects didn’t become bad until they spoke to us. Tom goes on to say, “it is because of what we said and did.”

When Tom (Big Al) started in the multi level marketing industry he went 22 months without recruiting anyone or selling a single product.  With frustration he began wondering if it was the company.  His upline asked him some soul searching questions.  Another distributor in the company, we will call Bob, was in the same town as Tom (Big Al).  The upline asked: “Is Bob from the same town as you are?  Is Bob recruiting into his business?  Is Bob selling products?”  Tom (Big Al) answered “Yes” to all three questions and the advice given to him was you had better figure it out because it is not the company’s fault.

Tom (Big Al) went and did figure it out and that finding made him the legend he is today.  You maybe asking how Tom Figured it out?  He stepped out and began studying people and learned how to communicate with them on a level that would bring in new business partners and sell products.

What Tom learned was he needed to be speaking to the subconscious mind of the prospect and not to theimage reasoning mind.  Tom likes to compare the size of the reasoning mind to that of a pea and the size of the subconscious mind to that of a large hotel.  Since most people make decisions with their subconscious mind it makes much more sense to use the language of that mind.  If you appeal to the reasoning mind it is this mind that comes up with all the reasons not to join you in business or buy your product(s) “REJECTION”.  There is nothing more damaging than rejection to a distributor and even more so to someone new to the business.

Successful Network Marketer–Mirror, Mirror On The Wall What Product Is The Catchall?

When beginning a home based business on line one of the areas considered is what product or service to choose that will move you closer to your goals in life.  Whether your goal is to be financially free, travel or even just earn an extra $500 a month having the right product or service will help you reach your target much faster.  To be a Successful Network Marketer–”Mirror, Mirror On The Wall What Product Is The Catchall?” will be the question to ask.

Most people who get into network marketing go about finding a product or service backwards.  They begin by looking for a product or service that they have fallen in love with and then go out finding others and convince them of their need for the product or service.  Their thought is they will be able to recruit them as a customer and/or a business partner in the venture.  If the product or service you have chosen to fall in love with is not appealing to the masses then your job becomes much more difficult.  With this being the case the chances of you reaching your dreams and goals in life are diminished which translates into you taking longer to achieve them or maybe not at all.

The best way to search for a product or service is to find one that the masses are already clamouring for and fall in love with that product.  You see with this type of product or service people will come to you looking to buy and all you will need to do is let the public know that you have the product or service they are seeking.  You will not have to convince them that they need it because they already have the belief that they do.

Sometimes the pot is sweetened even more when the product or service is an exclusive to one company.  This also eliminates much of the competition since the product or service is an exclusive.  For example when you are in the business of selling cell phones and the needed packages that go with them there are many online companies doing so.  Also the independent distributor is competing with the major telephone companies for that same piece of the pie and these companies can afford to give the best deals where the distributor cannot.  The company the independent distributor has joined can only do that if they reduce the profit margins which in turn gets passed on to the distributor in the form of a smaller bonus check.  Having that exclusive product or service certainly makes the job much easier for the independent distributor.

The only ingredient that is missing are the skills needed to talk to people without raising their salesman alarm.  Once the alarm is raised the chances of you being able to sell your product or service are little to none.  These skills are taught by tomlydTom “Big Al” Schreiter who is a very successful network marketer and generic trainer.  In most cases having the proper communication skills is as valuable as having that one of a kind exclusive product or service.

Frustrated Network Marketer-Special Question to Turn Prospects Into Eager Buyers

What is the special question to turn prospects into eager buyers?  Well one good investment of your time to read this article will answer that question and end feeling of being a frustrated network marketer.

On The Surface
Have you ever wondered about the impression you create, when you present your opportunity to prospects? I suggest that you take this question into consideration before your next presentation. Then, after your presentation, again ask yourself, “What impression did I present to my prospect?” How your potential distributors view you, plays an important role in successful recruiting. Remember, one of the primary reasons prospects join a program is because of the enroller.

Sales-Resistant.
To some degree, we are all sales-resistant. The next time you go shopping, give yourself a one-question quiz:

“Can you determine if the salesperson is salaried, or working on a commissioned basis?”

Have you ever noticed that when you go to a furniture or electronics store, a salesperson greets you at the door? Displaying a large smile, he asks, “May I help you?”

Without hesitation you respond, “No thanks, I’m just looking.” Then, as soon as they turn their back, you run down the aisle, and select the item you want. 

Why do we react in this manner? Could it be that we just didn’t want to be sold? If you don’t want to be sold, perhaps shopping in a department store is the answer to your dilemma. In most instances, the sales staff in your local department stores is salaried. Rarely will one of its members extend a personal greeting at the door. Equally rare are the occasions when a salesperson approaches you, offering assistance. More often than we like, we spend valuable time looking for a salesperson, especially when it’s time to check out!

Mistaken Identity.
It is my firm belief that the primary reason people are sales-resistant is because they are confused. Too often, we confuse peddlers with salespeople. Let me share a brief description of each with you. In this way, you’ll be able to distinguish between the two.

A peddler is someone who comes to your home or office. He informs you that you need what he has to sell. The full intent of this person is to insist that you buy.

A salesperson is someone who comes to your home or office. (However, this is where the similarity ends.) The salesperson asks, “What do you need?” Or, “What do you want?” Then, the salesperson fills that need or want.

With this in mind, isn’t it easier to understand why most of us are sales-resistant? If you had a choice, which of these two sales professionals would you prefer approach you? The peddler or the sales person?

Which of the two would your prospects judge you to be?

Now ask yourself, “Am I a peddler, or am I a salesperson?”
