Successful Network Marketing–Knowing How To Analyze An Opportunity BEFORE Spending a Dime

To be successful network marketing – knowing how to analyze an opportunity BEFORE spending a dime will save you years of struggle, frustration and starting from scratch over and over again.  On the other hand, if you have already signed on the dotted line with a company and are struggling to create that income from home as an online network marketer, I strongly suggest and recommend that you find a mentor with a servant’s heart to help you look at the opportunity you are currently in to see where there can be some improvements made. Usually it is just a matter of learning some skills, a network marketing education if you will.

How many times have you started a network marketing company, only to find frustration with the duplicable system, the upline support is next to zero or non existent and the compensation plan just does not add up as you were shown in the presentation?

How many times have you been burned? That’s right. You thought you saw the light at the end of the tunnel; had an organization of twenty, thirty or even hundreds in your downline when…BAM! Something turned it off. You found yourself holding the bag. Sound familiar? Perhaps you were terminated without cause, the company went out of business or changed it’s business model from MLM to direct sales.  Heaven forbid the company may  decided that it does not need  sales reps at all of any kind, direct or MLM distributors.  What happens then?

My hope would be that you would determine just how much of a risk the company you are thinking of joining will be before you join.  But if you find that you skipped that step and are in a company now,  there is still a way to determine how much you are risking by  using the 5 Pillars technology. Once you read the book Success in10 Steps written by Michael Dlouhy you will, when finished the free training course,  have an equivalent of a University degree in Network Marketing.

You will learn:

  • How to avoid scams that are masked as legitimate MLM Companies and turn out to be pyramid schemes
  • What is the best compensation plan?
  • What is the best system for duplication?
  • What is the best MLM company for YOU?
  • What to say and when to say it.

Just imagine how you would feel if you were NEVER scammed again, could finally create a residual walk away  income of 10K a month or even more and could finally say I have found a company that I can call HOME.

Just what is your desired income, perhaps an extra $500 a month is good enough for you?  Will your Policies and Procedures as well as your compensation plan allow you to retire and/or will your business to your heirs.

The Policies and Procedures will in most cases indicate that you can retire or leave your residual income to your heirs; succession. But, have you read them close enough to know that there may be qualifications that MUST be met by your heirs, or even qualifications that may prevent you from ever retiring.  Oh you can retire whenever you wish, but in most contracts in MLM if you decide to retire and do not caring on with your training responsibilities and your team building responsibilities; you will no longer be eligible to receive YOUR residual income that YOU created.  Making it impossible for you to retire and take a vacation when you want if you still want to receive that residual income that you worked so hard for.  This income, if you choose to walk away from a contract written like this will now roll right back to the company. OUCH!!

Read your PnPs for your self.  Look for words such as “ongoing” training, responsibilities, succession. What do your heirs have to do to qualify to receive what you have willed to them in your last will and testament?  How will your heirs feel when they realize that in order for them to receive what you have willed to them, they MUST sign up as a distributor and perform all the same duties that you do now?… Recruiting, selling, pitching your deal, training your downline.

You can  put any company to the 5 Pillars test.  Using the 5 qualifications listed in the 5 Pillars qualifying technology that will allow you to determine what your chances of success and or failure will be with any company.  You can find out what the 5 Pillars technology is by contacting us and we would be honoured to explain this important tool for evaluating a business opportunity.

What would have happened if you had the ability to properly analyze an opportunity before you decide to spend a dime? If that sounds like what you want, then give us a call and we would be honoured to share with you what we have learned over the past few years.

MLM Frustration-Michael Oliver’s Top Ten List on Why Distributors Don’t Take Action

Michael Oliver  has put together a list of the top ten reasons why distributors just can not take action or hold back from ever talking with other people about their business.  Talk about MLM frustration….it sure is frustrating as the upline to watch the downline struggle so much and never take action on anything they plan to do.

This list sure helped explain the hold ups and helps us understand our downline better.

“Here are my top ten reasons why most distributors hold back from talking with people about their business, and what to do about it.

10. No Desire To Grow The Business

Let’s face it – there are those in your team who just aren’t builders. Maybe they only want to be customers.  Who knows?  Accept it, acknowledge it and keep in touch with them, but spend your time with business builders.

9. Their Income Will Only Grow As Far As They Do

Whether it’s money issues or lack of self-mastery, for many, limitation issues based on past subconscious programming (that are reflected in present behaviour) can hold them back from talking with people.

Even top athletes and champions have trainers and coaches. Find one you like who will help you work on your strengths and eliminate your limitations.

8. Fear Of Not Knowing How To Approach People

Approaching and connecting with people in a social situation is for many distributors relatively simple. However, when it comes to talking about their business or products, they fall to pieces! Why? Because they think they have to impress by telling.

Wrong approach! It’s not about you as the distributor – it’s about them. Talk with them about them! Find out if there is a difference between what they have and what they want.  If there is a difference and it’s important enough for them to change, offer your solution. If it’s not, don’t.  Easy!

7. Fear Of Not Knowing What To Say

Say little and ask a lot!

6. Don’t Know What To Ask

Learn to ask the right types of questions and know when to ask them. This will get you the answers you need to decide whether you want to propose your solution. If you’re serious about your business you’ll learn what to ask and use what you learn.

5. Don’t Know What To Listen For

What you’re listening for is the same thing as what you’re asking.  Is there a problem, and are they prepared to do something about it?

4. Don’t Know How To Listen

How to listen is as important as what to listen for. Learning what to ask, what to listen for and how to respond makes listening easier.

3. Don’t Know How To Respond

Whether responding to a question, statement or concern, it’s important to always understand the meaning behind what is being said before replying.  What people first ask and say is very rarely what they mean to ask and say. Sometimes they don’t know themselves, but they ask or say something just to get the ball rolling.  Clarify by asking before giving an answer. It will give you and them a clearer picture and makes you appear really smart!

2. Fear Of What Friends And Associates Might Say To Them

This is about self-mastery, self-worth, and your level of desire and commitment to change your present situation. If you allow someone else to influence how you think and feel, then you’re giving away your emotional power.

The idea that someone can make you feel a certain way is ridiculous! You choose what you want to feel. If feeling a certain way historically gets you into trouble then be aware of it and change it.

And last, the number one reason distributors hold back from talking with people about their business …

1. Fear Of Being Rejected

As I’ve said many times, the key is not to overcome the fear because it will always be there. It will never go away. The key is to discover the cause of the fear, and ELIMINATE it.”

As you can see it appears to be not knowing what to say or what to do that creates the fear and causes a lack of action.   If you are interested and want to learn some very easy skills so you too will  gain the confidence you need that will finally allow you to pull the trigger and take action to talk to people, may we suggest Tom ‘Big Al’ Schreiter skills.  He is a master at teaching us how to prospect with no pressure on anyone, no rejection and no fear for you!

MLM Conniving and Manipulation, Don’t be Taken In

I am sure you are very familiar with many of the eye-catching, heart-pumping ads which you see while surfing the net or someone in your social network has introduced you to. These ads scream,  "We Build IT for You!", Make Thousands of Dollars in Six Months, FREE to JOIN, No Investment Required or Earn $5000 in Fifteen Minutes A Day!" These hyped ads are glamorous and irresistible to most people, especially those who are looking for ways to create income from home.

These ads appeal to our need to make a quick buck, simply because we find ourselves in financial situations that we feel overwhelmed by and seek alternative measures to improve things.  We believe everything we see on TV, in newspapers and now-a-days on the internet as Gospel.   Our greed takes over (in most cases unknowingly), rational reflection flies right out the window. As a  result there have been far too many people who were conned and manipulated out of their hard-earned money.  Unfortunately we know some of these people personally.

The Makeup of Network Marketing Scams

There is a lot of manipulation going on behind the scenes that most network marketers are not aware of.  Gurus that have been called upon to become the “Master Distributor of a company, in some cases have had their position given to them.  They were “bought”. Yes the company “PAID” to have that big Guru be the top dog in their company.  The “Top Dog” has been lured away at a price from another company, in a lot case bringing a huge downline along with them.  Some of these “gurus” have never built a downline in their career as a network marketer.   The majority of people who enter into MLM businesses are green as grass in business affaires. Often, they bumped into it as they answered an ad on the internet, in a newspaper, or on TV.

Most people have an abundance of logic and common sense, but when it comes to making huge amounts of money, most people seem to have lost  their common sense altogether.  After all,  this could be the opportunity to finally become rich.

Fast, simple and easy or even “on autopilot” are the marketing tricks employed by most scams. In their normal jobs people work very hard as a rule, spending  time and energy on what needs to be done. It is sad stat that all this hard work doesn’t get them where they want to be financially.

Now they see an ad that promises everyone that they can make lots of money with a minimal amount of work. They become victim to emotional marketing  and jump for the offer that might be the key to a financially better lifestyle. But in many cases it is the opportunity to empty their pockets.

Being Cautious is The Cardinal Rule In Business!

Warren Buffett, the famous investor, states: "you can’t do good business with bad people." This should be everybody’s golden rule.

If you want to go into business with someone, be absolutely sure you are dealing with a person of integrity. Intelligence and ambition are fine, but more important is a good, moral character. If the last quality is not there, you are asking for  mischief.

People and MLM companies are transparent – it may not be easy to check them out on the internet, but it is possible. Do NOT miss the opportunity to do your due diligence of the company management team and the company.   It could mean the difference between your success or your failure.

MLM Success Today–Warning Sign That You May Not Have a System For MLM Duplication

One of the most important aspects of network marketing is DUPLICATION.  Your business partners downline must  be able to duplicate what you are doing. If they duplicate what you are doing  their business will grow as well as yours.  If there is no system in place  for duplication there cannot be success in your business.  People cannot duplicate people but they can learn a system to duplicate what you are doing in order to build.

Buying leads and then cold calling them is considered a system for some distributors, however,  if your downline does not have the budget to buy leads, then what?  If you are a blogger and gain most of your leads through this method but many of the members of your imagedownline do not like to write, what then?  What if you can give a perfect business presentation but your downline  are  uncomfortable in front of a crowd or even doing a presentation with just one person?

Duplication is not about what you can do with great success but what the team and any prospective business partners can do to duplicate the success you are having to build your business.

A system should be one that offers a variety of options that anyone can choose depending upon their comfort zone.  One aspect of the system should be learning how to generate your own highly interested targeted leads.  There system should provide training which shows your downline how to blog, how to set up a blog, safe lists, traffic exchanges, video marketing and  even social media just to name a few.  Giving your downline a selection of proven methods of marketing  makes it easier for them to choose what method(s) is best for them.

Which ever system you use or provide it must be a proven method.   The system needs to be easy enough for all to imageuse and it must include teamwork.  Others coming in will need to know they have the help and guidance until they master the skills needed to duplicate the success you are having.

Remember it is not about how successful you can bring people into your business but how successful your team can bring people into the business by duplicating.  If it becomes about you it will be like building your business alone without the aid of team duplication and it will also mean a higher attrition rate if your downline cannot duplicate.

If you would like to learn more about systems or how to duplicate then contact us and look forward to a team spirit with duplication and the realization of your dreams and goals.

Frustrated Network Marketer-When is an MLM Not an MLM

First it would be best to describe what MLM is.  According to Wikipedia Multi-level marketing (MLM) is a marketing strategy in which the sales force is compensated not only for sales they personally generate, but also for the sales of others they recruit, creating a downline of distributors and a hierarchy of multiple levels of compensation.  MLM is also called network marketing or referral marketing. So when is an MLM not an MLM?

Follow the chat back and forth in a chat room discussing this very issue.

MG:  Anyone know of the Company ‘Medifast’…with a program called Take Shape for Life?…they have ‘Health Coaches’ who help you with your program.

BB: Beach Body does that too …

KM: Yes MG…I am familiar with Ta ke Shape for Life…what would you like to know?  $200 to be a health coach, then another $200 to become the next level up coach….NO PRODUCTS…just their useless “certification”.  They swear up & down they are not an MLM

KJ:  the money from bonuses, etc comes “from different pools of money”…well folks….all those “different pools of money” come from the same ocean called PRODUCT SALES!

MG: Thanks K this is good….currently trying to ascertain how many folks my friends need to Make 10K

MG: so they do not make money on products?

KM: yes the health coaches do make money on products…that’s what’s so silly about this one gal’s claims they are not an mlm…

KM: their focus is for people to get on the plan, lose weight, then on about month 7 the company starts sending info on becoming a health coach…”cuz now everyone is noticing how you lost weight”…

KM: you pay to get into the biz and do not get any products

KM: you make a commission (but this gal didn’t want to call it that cuz she says its not an MLM) from product sales to your customers and you get paid on the health coaches under you….of course…they are not a downline cuz as this lady insisted…it is not an MLM…very annoying to talk to her after awhile

FK: All that sounds very odd –    wonder how people want to get into such a strange program at all 🙂

So why do companies such as Medifast, Beach Body, Market America and  others insist  they are not MLM when clearly they are selling products for a commission and also recruiting others into the business opportunity to be compensated for their efforts?

One conclusion could be because network marketing and MLM have a bad reputation for being considered a pyramid scheme. For that reason the sales recruiters for these “Non-MLM” companies want to convince you that you are not joining an MLM company. If they can accomplish this their recruiting becomes much easier. Let’s face it, how many want to join an MLM company?  Exactly…because  of the misconceptions.

So lets be honest and call a spade a spade.  Take Shape For Life, Beach Body, Market America and all the others that insist they are NOT MLM>>>well read the definition again; they are, so don’t fall for the “We are not MLM”.

There are many small investment, legal and legitimate companies that are proud to be MLM companies.  These companies have been providing really great products, services and incomes for hundreds of thousands of ambitious entrepreneurs who are looking to better their financial future and will continue to do so…

So what is going to be easier for you, staying with your current 9-5 job or learning about a business opportunity which would help you make more money more easily without jeopardizing your current job or career?
