What great accomplishment has the nay sayer achieved who told you it could not be done? What are his qualifications that allow him to set up limitations for you?
It is usually the person giving advice who has little qualifications to even begin to give you suggestions on just how you should be living your life. I have found that the busier the person the less time they have to be involved with your life and to bother telling you how to live it.
Those who are failures or mediocre have all the time in the world it seems to give you their 2 cents worth of input. They take all the pleasure in the world to see you fail as well. They will be the first ones up to the plate to say "I told you so" when you experience a temporary setback in your plans or goals for success in your life.
If someone tells you that what you are attempting to achieve is impossible or not worth the effort, take a close look at them and what they have accomplished with their lives. The chances are good that you will find they haven’t done much. Successful people are optimistic people. They have the habit of success because they learned long ago to listen to themselves and not to those who would like to see them fail.
But let us ask this question, where will you find yourself or what is your goal for yourself say ten years from now?
Success is usually the result of accumulated small successes, usually over a long period of time. Those who have achieved long-term success are critical thinkers. They know that they must build upon each achievement and constantly learn new and better ways of doing things.
A regular, consistent review of your advancement is a core element of goal-setting. A goal is nothing but a wish unless you give yourself a time frame for an end result. Make sure your plan for your life includes short, medium, and long-term goals. Revise and tweak your goals as circumstances command, check them off when they are completed. Then go ahead and set a new target and bigger goals to achieve. It will aid in your own personal growth to give yourself goals to accomplish. Reviewing and reflecting often to make sure you are on the right path-for YOU.
The great majority of people in the world drift through life, never realizing that their future will be the one they create for themselves. The minority who achieve great success are people who know what they want and have a plan for realizing their objectives. They know what they want and how they are going to get it. Your goals should be specific, they should be measurable, they should have a deadline for their achievement, and they should be divided into manageable pieces. Know exactly what you plan to achieve, when you plan to achieve it, and how. Review your progress regularly, correct your course when necessary, and never, never give up.
Evaluate the lives of successful people. You will discover that they have paid a huge price that is in direct proportion to the amount of success they have gained. Close evaluation will almost certainly conclude they put in many years of study and preparation before ever achieving any sign of long lasting success.
This cause and effect is consistent in almost every field of individual accomplishment-in the medicine, science, arts, or business. You see, there is nothing worthwhile that ever comes easily. As you reflect and review upon your own goals, also take into consideration what you are willing to sacrifice for what you expect to gain.
You should be prepared to give generously of your time and talents long before expecting a return on your investment. Many "overnight successes" laboured in obscurity for many years before they were finally recognized for their achievements.
As you reflect upon this article as a network marketer, achievement and success will come. Will it come over night…not likely. Ask yourself just what are you willing to give to see that your success does come. Are you willing to give of your TIME, perhaps giving up some of your friends who do not want you to be successful. Are you willing to give up your “Farmville, Mafia Wars and Fish Tanks” to put in the required sacrifices that are NECESSARY to find real success in your chosen MLM opportunity.
Are you willing to do what it takes, and perhaps that may be learning and educating yourself about this industry. It has been established above that in the arts, medicine, science and business fields that sacrifice and investment was first made. And it took years of education to become that great Doctor or Donald Trump.
