Frustrated Network Marketer–When The Hill Grows

Life is full of ups and downs, achievements and disappointments, successes and failures, joys and sadness.  In life there are no easy paths that lead to a perfect life where all is bliss and happiness all the time.  Along the path of life there are obstacles you will encounter and decisions to be made.  Frustrated network marketer – when the hill grows into a mountain what will you do?

There will be times when life delivers us a new challenge and the hill becomes a mountain.  It will be up to us to decide whether we accept the challenge or walk away.  How we handle a challenge will determine whether we will be successful or fail. The key is in your decision. The choice is yours alone. If a path of failure and disappointment is chosen there is no one to blame but you.

I know a network marketer who has been up to the challenge a number of years now.  You see the network marketing company she is with is not in her country but to her that does not matter.  Yes there are challenges but because it is what she wanted to do so she chose the path of success.  The company was a perfect fit for her so she accepted the challenges that she knew would be difficult but the road to success was in her view.  To her the decision that if she could not build her business in her country she would build it in countries that the network company was in was a decision she HAD to make.  She is successful now and in the near future she will have achieved her goals and be living her dreams.  She is an inspiration to those that know her and will be so to many many more.

Recently two network companies merged and with the merger both companies have gained expertise that they were lacking and in fact the new entity has increased in strength and expertise.  A move that was beneficial to both companies and the distributors.  New products introduced which means a learning experience for those that have not been introduced to these products before  and different selling techniques.  One of the unfortunate turns of events is that the company is not in all the countries that the merging company was in creating  new challenges for some of the distributors in those countries.  But for those that seek to achieve their dreams and goals they will find a way around or over the mountain that has obstructed their path.

How we deal with these mountains will determine whether we need to take a different path or continue on the path we are on and face the new challenge.  We need to remember that we are business people and need to make  decisions based on a business point of view and not on an emotional one.  Emotions tend to cloud your vision and give way to negative emotions if the situation does not follow the path we had set.  Stephen R. Covey in his book “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective people” came upon a revelation and quoted it in his book.  “There is a gap or space between stimuli and response”.  The gap is the time you will have to make a decision to respond to the stimuli and the outcome will depend upon your decision.  Depending what the decision is, you will need to use the right criteria to make your decision and in business basing your decision upon an emotional response will lead down the path of negativity when in reality the situation you are cast into may be the best situation for you.

Frustrated Network Marketer–When The Hill Grows into that mountain that seems too high what will you do?  What will you do in that gap between stimuli and response?  I can only encourage you to make your decision based upon the right criteria and what is best for you.

Successful Network Marketing–Knowing How To Analyze An Opportunity BEFORE Spending a Dime

To be successful network marketing – knowing how to analyze an opportunity BEFORE spending a dime will save you years of struggle, frustration and starting from scratch over and over again.  On the other hand, if you have already signed on the dotted line with a company and are struggling to create that income from home as an online network marketer, I strongly suggest and recommend that you find a mentor with a servant’s heart to help you look at the opportunity you are currently in to see where there can be some improvements made. Usually it is just a matter of learning some skills, a network marketing education if you will.

How many times have you started a network marketing company, only to find frustration with the duplicable system, the upline support is next to zero or non existent and the compensation plan just does not add up as you were shown in the presentation? 

How many times have you been burned? That’s right. You thought you saw the light at the end of the tunnel; had an organization of twenty, thirty or even hundreds in your downline when…BAM! Something turned it off. You found yourself holding the bag. Sound familiar? Perhaps you were terminated without cause, the company went out of business or changed it’s business model from MLM to direct sales.  Heaven forbid the company may  decided that it does not need  sales reps at all of any kind, direct or MLM distributors.  What happens then? 

My hope would be that you would determine just how much of a risk the company you are thinking of joining will be before you join.  But if you find that you skipped that step and are in a company now,  there is still a way to determine how much you are risking by  using the 5 Pillars technology. Once you read the book Success in10 Steps written by Michael Dlouhy you will, when finished the free training course,  have an equivalent of a University degree in Network Marketing. 

You will learn:

  • How to avoid scams that are masked as legitimate MLM Companies and turn out to be pyramid schemes
  • What is the best compensation plan? 
  • What is the best system for duplication? 
  • What is the best MLM company for YOU?
  • What to say and when to say it.

Just imagine how you would feel if you were NEVER scammed again, could finally create a residual walk away  income of 10K a month or even more and could finally say I have found a company that I can call HOME.

Just what is your desired income, perhaps an extra $500 a month is good enough for you?  Will your Policies and Procedures as well as your compensation plan allow you to retire and/or will your business to your heirs. 

The Policies and Procedures will in most cases indicate that you can retire or leave your residual income to your heirs; succession. But, have you read them close enough to know that there may be qualifications that MUST be met by your heirs, or even qualifications that may prevent you from ever retiring.  Oh you can retire whenever you wish, but in most contracts in MLM if you decide to retire and do not caring on with your training responsibilities and your team building responsibilities; you will no longer be eligible to receive YOUR residual income that YOU created.  Making it impossible for you to retire and take a vacation when you want if you still want to receive that residual income that you worked so hard for.  This income, if you choose to walk away from a contract written like this will now roll right back to the company. OUCH!!

Read your PnPs for your self.  Look for words such as “ongoing” training, responsibilities, succession. What do your heirs have to do to qualify to receive what you have willed to them in your last will and testament?  How will your heirs feel when they realize that in order for them to receive what you have willed to them, they MUST sign up as a distributor and perform all the same duties that you do now?… Recruiting, selling, pitching your deal, training your downline.

Frustrating MLM Presentations – How To Create A Qualified Prospect In Just 2 Minutes or Less

It is amazing really, some people are capable of creating a prospect in 2 minutes (or less), but still others struggle to create that perfect prospect with a frustrating MLM presentation that takes 3 hours. In my opinion, tomlydTom Big Al Schreiter is the king of the one minute presentation.  Today no one has time to listen to a 3 hour presentation, heck most will not give you 20 minutes.  Hopefully this article will explain “How To Create A Qualified Prospect In Just 2 Minutes or Less.”

First you need to be skilled in the necessary skills to “Make It” in this business.  Coming from “Wall Street”, being a traditional business owner, a doctor or a sanitary engineer  will NOT make you a success in MLM. Education and learning MLM skills however will make all the difference.

Does this sound familiar? You have chosen your opportunity,  now what?  Ah…a presentation to your prospect about your product or your MLM business opportunity. You gave the presentation and failed miserably.  Don’t beat yourself just yet.  Most fail in this area…simply because we do not know what to say…We can not just wing it though. Again the importance of education and learning MLM skills.

Would it be ok if you could learn to give a whole opportunity presentation/product presentation in less than 2 minutes?  How about in one minute? Just imagine giving a presentation while you are on an elevator or on break at work with a co-worker. Would this sound good to you?

Opportunities to give a presentation do present themselves and we have to know what to say and when to say it.  Just imagine someone leaning forward wanting to know more…

Well here are 3 simple steps you can use to create your amazing 1 or 2 minute presentation that will have prospects begging you for much more information.

REJECTION FREE TIPS FROM TOM BIG AL SCHREITER

  • Present YOU as the solution to your prospects problem…become the solution

Tom tells us that your very first sentence is the most important part of your whole presentation. So make it good. Tom also tells us that you have to get past your prospects “salesman” alarms…the prospect will decide in less than 10 seconds if they will continue to listen to you.

  • Prospects want to know 3 basic things:
  1. What kind of business are you in?
  2. How much money can I make?
  3. What do I have to do to earn that money?
  • Prospects do  not really care what your business is…

If you build a good relationship with them they would sell bubble gum or garbage can covers even moon rocks if they see what you have as a solution to their problem. Your prospect wants to know “what is in it for them” and “how you are going to be able to assist them”.

Be listening for opportunities to present themselves…remember the timing may not be right for your prospect so get a date and time that would be good for them to listen to a short presentation.

Here is a prime example of a good opportunity to give a presentation….

When people tell me that they are tired or feel trapped in their job and need some extra cash, we ask…

“Would you like to do something about it?”

Most people say they would love to know how they could have more energy or have an extra income.

I would be happy to tell you…when could you set aside a whole one minute for me to tell you what I do.

Most people respond “right now”, so I say:

I am in the health and wellness business which means I show people how to feel 18 again but with better judgement by drinking a healthy energy drink, by eating great tasting diet cookies and by drinking diet shakes to help people lose weight so they can have lots of energy to take care of their family and start enjoying life again. I show people how they can earn extra money and have more time freedom and live healthier lives, doing something they already do but are not getting paid to do.”

Would it be ok if you could do the same thing…  all you have to do is find 4 people who feel the same way you do and want to feel younger, have more energy and want to earn an extra pay check a month.

There you have it, you have created by listening for a good opportunity a qualified prospect in less than 2 minutes.  Less than 1 minute really….you have shown that you just may be a solution to their problem with your opening sentence in your presentation. Give the presentation…the rest IS up to them.

Frustrated Network Marketer – You are Invisible

You need a product people will buy from you because it can stand on its own merit, not because you can entice someone to become involved with the product based on the compensation they could receive for selling.   Otherwise, it will take way too much work for anyone to build a business. If your #1 network marketing product is not remarkable, you are invisible and you are still a frustrated network marketer.

I get calls from people who tell me they are searching for a product that truly inspires them. And that is exactly the wrong way to set yourself up for a long-term successful network marketing business.

Instead, search to find a mob of people raving about a product ‚ THEN Fall in Love With THAT Product! Be a passionate advocate for it. Find a product with a HUGE market and fall in love with it.

Some people love to work for companies with a product that fits their self-image‚ but they can’t make a dime on it.

Do yourself a favour. Focus on the people. Focus on the market. Use Google. Search & compare products. Find something that a ton of people are excited about. Choose a product that everyone else wants…not what YOU want and like.

And then, as you build your people, let them know the wisdom of doing the same thing.

Let me give you an example.

When People Are Excited About a Product, They Run To The Marketplace!

I ask this question of people all the time:

"Do you know anybody who is a diabetic, or who has a blood-sugar disorder?" Never once has anyone told me, "No."

So my next question to them is, "Do you think that person would like to know about a product that’s all natural, that costs less than $20, that has been proven to help rebuild the pancreas, and can possibly reduce or eliminate their need for insulin?"

The answer is always "Yes," and they are very excited about that.

And that person YOU know who has a blood-sugar disorder – do you think they may know 10 people who’d like the same information? THAT is the kind of excitement you can create with a hot, sizzle product that has people feeling the difference in days, not weeks or months.

Another example – back in the heyday of Excel long distance service, non-network marketers took the product to the market. We were all paying 40 cents a minute for long distance back then. When Excel started reselling long distance, you paid 30 cents a minute. And if you had your friends & family on it, you got it for 15 cents a minute.

So non-network marketers took that product to the marketplace. They didn’t care whether there was a compensation plan. It was obviously a huge improvement over the 40 cents a minute that everybody was paying.

So do yourself a favour. Find yourself a product that already has a huge market, and then fall in love with THAT product. Your business will almost build itself.

Successful Network Marketers Have Learned Skills

IF YOUR GOALS ARE OF NO MAJOR PURPOSE, YOU ARE DRIFTING TOWARD CERTAIN FAILURE.

Not having a major purpose OR goal for your life is like trying to navigate through uncharted waters. You may eventually get somewhere you planned, or you may drift like a ship without a sail, always wishing-but never finding-the place where you would like to be. As you grow as an individual, so will your major purpose and goals for life. It is the natural order of things that, when you reach the top of one mountain, you will look around for higher peaks to climb-other opportunities. In life, either you are moving forward and failing forward  or you are going backward. As humans it does us no real good to live in the past.  Continuous movement forward even after failure is the positive direction to move in.  When you chart your course carefully and thoughtfully, you can dismiss all doubt that you are going in the right direction.

FAILURE IN NETWORK MARKETING IS A GIVEN!  Apparently we feel we have to beat ourselves up over and over again before we finally decide to pay attention.  Ask yourself, “Why have I failed?”  The answer we neglect to see is right before us.  We continuously and constantly make the same mistake over and over.  If what you are doing now is not working for you, why move on to another opportunity and make the same mistakes again.  BUT you do not have to relive your failures everyday.  The biggest mistake is that before we start an online business opportunity, we regrettably do not educate ourselves about this industry.

Successful network marketing organizations are not built by one person. It is through teamwork, people from every walk of life & experience level coming together and working together. It takes many hands working for one common goal.  You absolutely need a great product. You won’t sustain success without one. But the MOST critical is a LOT of people working together, educating others with the necessary skills to be a huge success.

 Failure in this industry DOES NOT HAVE TO HAPPEN.
