Frustrated Network Marketer–When The Hill Grows

Life is full of ups and downs, achievements and disappointments, successes and failures, joys and sadness.  In life there are no easy paths that lead to a perfect life where all is bliss and happiness all the time.  Along the path of life there are obstacles you will encounter and decisions to be made.  Frustrated network marketer – when the hill grows into a mountain what will you do?

There will be times when life delivers us a new challenge and the hill becomes a mountain.  It will be up to us to decide whether we accept the challenge or walk away.  How we handle a challenge will determine whether we will be successful or fail. The key is in your decision. The choice is yours alone. If a path of failure and disappointment is chosen there is no one to blame but you.

I know a network marketer who has been up to the challenge a number of years now.  You see the network marketing company she is with is not in her country but to her that does not matter.  Yes there are challenges but because it is what she wanted to do so she chose the path of success.  The company was a perfect fit for her so she accepted the challenges that she knew would be difficult but the road to success was in her view.  To her the decision that if she could not build her business in her country she would build it in countries that the network company was in was a decision she HAD to make.  She is successful now and in the near future she will have achieved her goals and be living her dreams.  She is an inspiration to those that know her and will be so to many many more.

Recently two network companies merged and with the merger both companies have gained expertise that they were lacking and in fact the new entity has increased in strength and expertise.  A move that was beneficial to both companies and the distributors.  New products introduced which means a learning experience for those that have not been introduced to these products before  and different selling techniques.  One of the unfortunate turns of events is that the company is not in all the countries that the merging company was in creating  new challenges for some of the distributors in those countries.  But for those that seek to achieve their dreams and goals they will find a way around or over the mountain that has obstructed their path.

How we deal with these mountains will determine whether we need to take a different path or continue on the path we are on and face the new challenge.  We need to remember that we are business people and need to make  decisions based on a business point of view and not on an emotional one.  Emotions tend to cloud your vision and give way to negative emotions if the situation does not follow the path we had set.  Stephen R. Covey in his book “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective people” came upon a revelation and quoted it in his book.  “There is a gap or space between stimuli and response”.  The gap is the time you will have to make a decision to respond to the stimuli and the outcome will depend upon your decision.  Depending what the decision is, you will need to use the right criteria to make your decision and in business basing your decision upon an emotional response will lead down the path of negativity when in reality the situation you are cast into may be the best situation for you.

Frustrated Networker–Ghosts Are Holding Me Back (part 1)

 

imageCharles Dickens “A Christmas Carol” illustrated the basic truths about ghosts in our lives and how they can haunt us.  In the movie there were three ghost: the ghost of the past, the ghost of the present and the ghost of the future.  Each of the ghosts reflected on various aspects of Mr. Scrooge’s life and the consequences of the decisions he made over the years.  The ghosts showed Mr. Scrooge, “the what was” and “the what ifs” of his life. Scrooge would have to admit that these three ghosts were there to remind him of the consequences of his decisions made in the past. But there are other ghosts holding him back from  true success life had to offer.

Each one of us has various ghosts of fear that hold us back from enjoying life and success in business to the fullest.  Where we are today is a product of the decisions we made in the past whether they were imagegood decisions or bad.  We often wonder why we made the decisions we made and never really come to a conclusion because we quite often don’t know where to look.  In Think and Grow Rich By Napoleon Hill, chapter fifteen “How To Outwit The Six Ghosts of Fear” is a great place to start.

Where did these ghosts come from?  They are a product of the programming our subconscious mind has been given by well intentioned parents, relatives, religion, formal education and others who we associate with in our lives.  Our subconscious mind has been programmed with their view of life and how we should base our decisions.  They mean well but the problem is, we are not them and what they perceive life to be, applies to them only and not us.  These ghosts of fear come from those little ideals passed on to us like: “stop daydreaming”, “what will others think?”, “why would you want to do that for a career?”, “don’t be so stupid”, “you will never be able to do that”, “girls can’t be mechanics” and many many more.

From all the programming we receive these three enemies are spawned, and affect our lives in so many unimaginable ways .  Indecision, doubt and fear are very dangerous enemies that can grow in ones life unobserved.  Hill tells us that indecision crystalizes into doubt, indecision blends with doubt which turns into fear and it is this process which spawns the imageghosts of fear, there are six basic fears and all others fall under these six.  These ghosts are damaging beyond compare and are very often responsible for marriage breakups, failure in business, failed relationships and a general failure in many aspects of life.  The real danger is that we may not realize we have these ghosts because they have been part of our lives for so long.

If these ghosts go unchecked they will grow, the chances of success in various aspects of life dwindle and fade away and even if success is made it quite often falls by the wayside through self destruction.  The beginning steps to determining which ghosts may be hiding in the subconscious mind comes from study, research and self examination.  Many people do not like to do a self analysis or delve into their past to deal with and clear out these ghosts of fear, but if you want to move ahead in life and change your outlook then self analysis will be necessary to determine which of the ghosts are present.  Don’t be fooled, some of the ghosts are very hard to detect so honesty with oneself is a must.

One of the best ways to deal with the ghosts that haunt you is to become involved in a mastermind environment where other members share theirimage experiences and you share yours and search for the answers together in a safe setting.  When the mastermind is functioning as it is suppose to there is no judgement of others but just a genuine commitment of helping each other to discover the truth and dispel these ghost of fear.

Great headline, eh? If you don’t capture your prospect’s imagination and attention with a great first sentence or headline … you don’t have a prospect.
Always think hard about what your first sentence will be. Your career depends on it.
* “So what did you do for your last vacation?”
* “This is really weird … but it works.”
* “This is not a bribe, really.”
* “How to earn the big bonuses, just like greedy bankers.”

We made them curious in our headline.  The beautiful thing about this is that when our readers keep coming back to our blog we can begin to build relationships.  And everyone knows that the bigger you build your spider web, the bigger your base of influence on others in your niche.

The best headline writers/creators have many ideas of headlines just bouncing around in their heads that they can call upon at any time.  You have to have a winning headline to keep your followers coming back.

Frustrated Network Marketer–Viewing Yourself From A Distance

How do you view your attitude towards your job or Network Marketing Company? Has your desire to earn big dollars overshadowed your purpose?  Should you have a purpose?  What kind of purpose should you have?  Sometimes not having the proper purpose leads to a Frustrated Network Marketer–Viewing Yourself From A Distance can make all the difference to your business.

Having worked in the auto servicing industry for many years having a purpose is key to success and keeping your enthusiasm.  There are days when things go wrong and nothing seems to be going the way it should.  Customers complain because you have not met their expectations and some cannot be pleased no matter what you do.  Having the right attitude and purpose will carry you through the tough times.  If your purpose and attitude reflect your desire you can draw upon the power generated from this and move forward towards the success you deserve.

A couple of days ago I heard the guy running the front desk of the Auto Service Department make a comment that reflected his desire and attitude towards his job.  “We don’t just fix a car, we solve problems for the customers, we are problem solvers.  WOW what an attitude!

When we view our job in the light of how we can make a profit for the business we are involved in, that attitude is felt by the customer.  The customer feels they are just dollars and cents to you.  Better not make any mistakes and the job had better go along without any snags, or else!

If you truly desire to be a problem solver for the customer they will feel that attitude and are far more likely to work with you and when things go wrong they are much more forgiving.

Yes, you are in business to make a profit so you can reach your goals.  But when you let the money making attitude shine through the customer feel like they are just another pay check for you.  It is just the same with a network marketing business also.  Viewing your business on how much money you can make shows the customer or perspective business partner the value you have placed upon them.  Show them that you really care and you are there as a problem solver.  Your product has benefits so sell in the light of how they could help solve problems for the customer.  Present your business opportunity as a way to help them become debt free and have that financial freedom we all desire with the added bonus of time freedom.

Having the attitude of a problem solver will also allow you to build really great relationships with people who in turn will like, trust and get to know you. This can lead to customer and business partners who are loyal and they in turn will follow your lead by becoming problem solvers to others.

People just want to be treated with respect and know they have value to you so develop that problem solver attitude and be sincere about it and always remember Frustrated Network Marketer–Viewing Yourself From A Distance will keep you moving to being that problem solver people need and follow.  Oh! teach them to pass it on, it will make the world a better place.

Frustrated Network Marketer–Friendships That Last A Lifetime

There are many friendships born as we go through life but not many of them remain lifetime.  As we grow older and finally into adulthood there are many changes that come about.  We develop different likes, hobbies and interests that no longer coincide with those our friends had when we met in the earlier years.  We promised we would always remain in touch but as the years passed so did our good intentions.  Finally friends are forgotten and the friendship cools down because time and distance have a way of helping us forget.  Frustrated Network Marketer–Friendships that Last A Lifetime can become a way of life for us when we meet others  that have the same mindset, desires, ambitions and dreams.

There is always time in life to make lifetime friendships.  When my wife and I joined the network marketing arena we had no idea of the friendships we would develop over the years.  We have made some of the best friends one could wish for and in fact they are our adopted family.  When you have friends of this calibre you always have someone you can lean on when life or circumstances come your way.  Our friendships have developed because we have the same dreams, ambitions, mindset and the desire to have a better life.  Our friendships are very beneficial to both sides with the desire to see everyone achieve their dreams.

One of the best things you can do in life is to help others reach their goals in life.  Helping others get from one circumstance to a better one in life is a positive for them as well as you.  It gives you a purpose for your life in that you are helping others better themselves.  When you show others that you care about them it is inevitable that lifetime friendships can develop.  It also likely that others who see your ability to help others will be attracted to you.  Showing you care, a positive attitude and like mindedness are attractive traits to others and therefore attract to them to your circle of influence.  This is also a plus for your business and in fact will help you build your business because you are building know, like and trust relationships.  These types of relationships are great for partnerships in business especially network marketing businesses.

Frustrated Network Marketer–Friendships That Last A Lifetime are important in life and business.  In the Network Marketing arena key words in that relationship are know, like and trust and in fact they will have a part in whether you are successful or not.
