How much time do we have  to live our lives?  No one knows because we are not born with an expiry date printed on our forehead.  Because we do not know how long we will live we need to make the best of the time we have and make sure we live it to the fullest.  “Frustrated Network Marketer–What Some Recruiters Don’t Want You To Know” is that you do have the time to make a wise choice regarding a business opportunity.

When making a decision regarding your future it is always best to take the time to investigate your options.  This also holds true  regarding a business opportunity.  Don’t let anyone play the game of saying this is your last opportunity or time is running out for getting into an opportunity.  Remember you do have the time to do an investigation,  after all it is your future and your dream.

Take the time to ask the person trying to recruit you into a business opportunity some probing questions so you can be sure the opportunity is a fit for you.  Ask about the compensation plan and the policies and procedures that way you will know what is expected of you right up front.  The person recruiting may not know the answers to all your questions and need to bring someone else in to give an explanation, and that is ok.  Remember to investigate the company, the owners and do your due diligence so you can be sure you are looking at a viable business opportunity.  Remember that Google is a great resource for your investigation.

You do have the time to make an informed decision regarding a business opportunity.  If you don’t take the time you may find yourself struggling and frustrated when things don’t work out like you expected.

Recruiting and product sales, to many in network marketing, can be a very frustrating issue.  You may have already guessed that the frustration you are having is because many network marketers are “NOT” sales people. This article, “Frustrated Network Marketer–The Answer is In The Canada Geese V” takes an approach to explain the frustration in a way many network marketers may not have thought about.  Because you are being taught sales and recruiting methods that you perceive you cannot do. Or perhaps your personality type adds to the difficulty and then frustration sets in.

When the season is right for the Canada Geese to migrate the flock takes to the air and flies in a “V” shaped pattern.  They fly in this pattern which becomes a benefit to each member.  The lead bird is the one who is cutting the air and its movement creates lift for the birds following therefore making the flight easier for those following.  Every now and then the lead bird will fall back in line, when it becomes tired, and another takes its place in the lead.  This method of flying increases the range the flock can travel during each leg of their journey.

If you were to analyze the physics involved in the Canada Geese V pattern, it would be very difficult for many to understand.  Taking into consideration wind shear, lift and various other variables involved may not interest you because you don’t plan to migrate in this manner nor would you want to.  The geese even don’t do the analysis, they just do what they do instinctively

So it is in recruiting and sales with some network marketers.  They just do it regardless of the short term or long term success.  It does not seem difficult to them because it is what they do.  The problem is when you join their team they teach their method or you observe with the hope of being able to follow their example without success.  Why?  Because you are not a sales person like them.  You try to analyze why but it becomes too difficult because you do not or cannot figure all the variables involved.

During a training call recently, another question was posed regarding the Canada Geese V by Bob Basset who is one of our advisors and friend, by the way, a high school physics and math teacher.  The question was “why is one side of the “V” longer than the other sometimes?”.  The call went silent and you could feel the people on the call scrambling to come up with a complicated scientific answer.  After a period of silence Bob gave the answer: “because there are more geese on that side.” You see things are not as complicated as it appears or you may perceive.  That is the way it is for recruiting and product sales also.

Tom “Big Al” Schreiter who is a legend in Network Marketing and the best generic Network Marketing trainer in the world has proven that sales and recruiting does not have to be nor is it complicated to sell products or recruit into your business.  The problem has been that we make it difficult by coming up with elaborate and sophisticated systems and then expect our downlines to follow.  If they can’t or the system has not been properly tested then the result is frustration and an attrition rate.

Hurricanes, fires, floods, tornadoes, even bankruptcy – these are the things we often associate with contingency planning. But what if you are suddenly told that you are fired? Do you know that developing a good “Plan B” NOW can save you a lot of heartache in the future.

Can you just imagine for a moment that you are sitting at your desk…and your boss walks up to you and taps you on your shoulder and says, “I’ve got some good news and some bad news.”

What would you normally want to hear first?

Yes the bad news. So your boss tells you, “Well the bad news is you’re fired!” And you’re thinking “WOW”, that really is bad news.

You think that this is pretty embarrassing and  how awful it will be to go home and tell your spouse that you just got fired. What if you couldn’t find a job for another year or you might have to drive way across town to get another job; that wouldn’t pay near as much as you were getting paid now.

Is this bad news?  YES

So you panic and turn to your boss and say, “what is the good news?” Your boss says, “The good news is, you have the rest of the afternoon off.” So now you really panic and ask your boss if there is any way to keep you?

Your boss says, “Well the jobs have all been outsourced internationally and they took all our jobs and there is only going to be a handful of people left on staff.  If you want to be one of the people we keep on staff, you would have to agree to work one hour overtime every day, for FREE, Monday through Friday from 5 pm to 6 pm.  You have to work one hour overtime, for free everyday. If you did that we could afford to keep you.

What do you suppose most ordinary people would say?

Yes, exactly, they would agree and say yes in a heart beat. Isn’t that amazing that they would agree.

So the boss says, “Well ok if you want to agree and you are willing to do that, work an hour overtime, Monday through Friday from 5 -6 pm for free; if you’re willing to do that, I tell you what…you can be part of the team.  And for you helping us out through this tough period, here is what the company is willing to do for you…If you don’t miss any time doing this…at the end of two years here is what the company is going to let you do…retire at FULL PAY.”

So now what are you thinking? Yeah, woo whoooo, best day of your life, right? You’re thinking wow, if I do this for two years I can retire at full pay…

How many would think that this is pretty good news?

Everyone would be excited.

So you run home and you tell your spouse about your plans to work overtime for free.

You work the hour overtime everyday for about 6 months…and you’re at a party. At this party some of your friends are saying to you…”Oh man look at you. You are just so stupid and pathetic. Look at you; you are working an hour overtime everyday for FREE…the company is taking advantage of you. Just quit that job and get a job where they are going to pay you for all your hours.

What would you say?

“No, I only have 18 months to go and then I can retire at full pay.”

So you do it for about18 months working that extra hour, you come home and your spouse says…”You know what dear, we miss you for dinner…quit that job, get a new job where you come home an hour earlier for dinner.”  What would you say? No way, only 6 months to go and I can retire at full pay.

And you would do this for two years and at the end of two years you could retire at full pay. Would that be awesome?

Unfortunately your job doesn’t offer that benefit. But network marketing does. Here is a simple “Plan B” that anyone can begin working TODAY.

When you join a network marketing business that is what happens…You are just going to work one hour every day, Monday through Friday talking to people. If you talk to people just one hour every day, Monday through Friday at the end of two years  your bonus would be enough to equal your full time income and you can retire at full pay.

I know what you are thinking…Ohhhh, yeah, yeah, yeah…I would like to try it, but I just don’t know what to say.

Of course you are just starting you don’t have any skills yet. But you would learn as you go along…I mean you could learn to do anything in an hour a day for two years…couldn’t you?

You could even learn to play the piano. So maybe the first week you learn to say, “Hi!” and the second week you say, “My name is.” But you would get better. And at the end of two years you could retire at full pay. So what do you think?

The cool thing is that in the right opportunity you would not have to wait for two years before seeing any commissions.  You would start receiving pay from your first sale…but maybe that is a mistake so you could always give it back to me and I could take care of it for you.  (Just kidding)

Seriously though…in the right op you can start  receiving commissions right away. That is how networking works with the RIGHT compensation plan.  You begin to create a good income so the day will eventually arrive that you can retire at full pay.  Never ever listen to the guy that tells you that you will be creating an income of $3000.00 in just 3 hours or 3 months from now.  That is a unusual…it could happen but not likely for the majority of newbies. 

A real business opportunity takes time to create a good substantial income. Now depending on your skill level and your willingness to learn skills this could take less than a year or it could take five plus years…but you could eventually walk away from building your bosses dream and start living your own dream. 

We would work for our boss for two years of overtime at no pay to keep our job, but do we really understand how network marketing works…well the benefit is seeing the results. You still have a day job which is  a good thing because you have to be able to invest in a network marketing business and then the glory comes of walking into your bosses office and kicking your feet up on his desk and telling him that you are done…that you are firing him.

So what are you waiting for…start working on your plan B today so you can start living it with the ones you love.

ARE YOU WALKING PAST A FORTUNE? 

There are so many different MLM Compensation Plans, but who really had to tell you that? Which plan is best for you? Well consider this….Prior to joining any MLM Company you should be able to answer that question before signing on the dotted line. Anyone interested in MLM needs to know how to make the best choice for best results. Weigh your choices to find out which is a heavy weight.

You should know exactly how much you will get paid and how hard you will have to work to get paid. That way, there is no confusion or misunderstanding. It is however my opinion that you should educate yourself about the different types of comp plans FIRST, figure out the structure of the comp plan from company to company, simply because each will be different in some regard. For instance how many you will need to sponsor or recruit and how much volume will you require before seeing any commission.  

And remember that being in LOVE with a product does not pay you. Loving a product will never bring you long term financial freedom…fall in love with a good compensation plan. But don’t fall in love with the first one you date. Really check them out and seek advice from someone who does understand compensation plans.

Choose a MLM Compensation Plan first, and then find a company that pays you the MOST for the least amount of work.  For instance if you are in a company that requires you to have a team organization and active customer base of 2700 for you to see a commission check of $10,000.00 a month and another company only requires 400 team members and active customer base to make the same $10,000.00…which comp plan is really the best in this case?

With a Binary MLM Compensation Plan, you get to build two legs. (Like this is some kind of feather in the company corporate hat for this comp plan.) In other words, to be brutally hones, you are limited to two people on your front level. Once you sponsor two people, you are forced to place everyone else under them in your downline. Remember also that you normally get paid on your weakest leg. Market America and many other companies use this compensation plan.

Your real success formula is to find a great compensation plan that pays you for ALL your efforts not just half, and pays you whether you sponsor anyone or not.  Such huge challenges should not face you as you a build your business.  A good comp plan would pay you even on your own product purchases regardless of your ability to sponsor into your organization.  Find that compensation plan and company and then stay with them for a long period of time. That’s what most top earners do. Most successful MLM distributors have been with their current company long term…3, 5 10, 20 and even 30 plus years. If you want to make the big bucks you will need to do the same thing.

Like many others in the network marketing industry you are probably working your online business part time. Frustrated Network Marketer – One Word Your Day Job Boss Loves is: non-commitment.  Oh don’t get me wrong he also hates that word if it applies to your performance at his establishment.  When that same word applies to your online business he just loves it because it still makes you dependent on your day job and making him rich while you live pay check to pay check.  What are you going to do about it?

How committed are you to your own online business?  I didn’t hear you!  How committed?  Come on be totally and brutally truthful with yourself.  Have you reached out for help?  Oh you have.  Were you also totally and brutally truthful to those you have asked for help?  Did you provide a good phone number so they could help you?  Many seem to reach out but when asked the question, are you as far along as you thought you would be?, the answer becomes vague and only partial truths.  The norm seems to be fake it till you make it and cloud the issue of why you are reaching out or searching for an answer of why this business venture is not working for you like you were told it would.

Fake it till you make it syndrome leads you down the path of failure and frustration which further leads you  to “QUIT”.  When that occurs you have certainly failed and the dreams you have die in the process.   Most people don’t like to fail  and like  to admit failure even less.

My wife and I speak as people who offer our help freely but with  one obligation and that is commitment to do what is asked of you when it comes to the homework we assign.  The homework is not difficult and it provides an insight into the industry which explains why you are struggling.  If you are at all committed to your business and dreams, you will take the time to do as we ask because we are committed to see that you reach your dreams.

The homework assigned on average takes approximately 9 hours to complete.  If you have been struggling for months or even years  what is 9 hours out of your time to finally figure out why you are so frustrated?  If you are not willing to be truthful and committed to do the homework then it tells us you are not committed to make your business work and you enjoy struggling.  If you are not willing to commit you are wasting your time as well as ours and I have to ask again, are you committed to make your business successful or are you just dabbling in a network marketing business for a hobby?  I don’t know about you but I did not join a business for the sake of joining a business, I did it to make money and realize my dreams of financial and time freedom.  How about you and what are you going to do about it?
